| Semantic Image Search and Keywording Tool |
About the fieldsKeywords: add a couple of keywords that define the types of keywords or images you are looking for. Exclude: add any words you want to ensure are excluded e.g. if you are searching for images that are orange in colour but not related to the fruit, add the word 'fruit' to the exclude field. Image Count: this defines the number of images to be analysed for keywords. The higher the number you choose, the more images are analysed and the more keywords and images are returned, but the longer it will take for the keywords and images to be gathered. Image Sort: you can choose either Popular or Newest depending on which types of images you wish to focus on. Newest will analyse the most recent images contributed to Shutterstock or Flickr. Popular will analyse the images that have received the most downloads (Shutterstock) or the most comments and views (Flickr). Flickr Images: By default, the tool will only retrieve images from the Shutterstock collection, however, by choosing Include, you can also include image results from Flickr. About the buttonsFind Keywords: retrieves the associated keywords based on your criteria. From here, you can quickly choose and export your selection. Find Images: identifies images tagged with your keywords with a link to see the images on either Shutterstock or Flickr Create Tag Cloud/Wordle: returns the keywords as hyperlinks. Clicking on these hyperlinks will add the keywords to the search criteria, allowing you to iteratively refine your keyword search until you are happy with the results. From there, you can then choose to view the resulting images or keywords for export or even create a WORDLE. Help: shows and hides this help section. |
