MyKeyworder for Lightroom is a free plugin that adds a powerful keywording tool to Adobe Photoshop Lightroom.
MyKeyworder for Lightroom works on Lightroom v5 and v6 incl. Lightroom Classic CC on both Mac and PC. The plugin is partially compatible with Lightroom v4 - see advanced features below.
The silent demo video will show how easy it is to keyword your images using the plugin.
Many of the questions we get are about the basic functionality, so here is a guide to the key features.
Select multiple images
Auto extraction from Title and Description
Auto identification (Not available with Lightroom v4)
Location tagging - Removed in Version 1.25
Good to Know
If you change computers then the plugin will think that you have not donated yet. This is because Lightroom uses a unique identifier for each computer and we use that identifier to track if you have made a donation. Fortunately it is easy to reconnect the email you used to make your donation to the identifier of your new computer.
In Lightroom, launch the plugin like you would when keywording an image. Then click on the donate button. At the bottom of the pop-up window, you will see the following: "Please click here to reconnect to an old account." Click on the link and enter the Paypal email address you used to make the initial donation.
If that doesn't work, open a support ticket. We'll need the URL of the pop-up window that asks you to donate to investigate, so please include that and the PayPal addrss you used to make the donation in the ticket request.
This typically happens on smaller screens like laptops. It's easy to fix. Go to File -> Plugin Manager then under MyKeyworder for Lr, you will see Preferences. In the preferences pop-up, you will see an option to adjust the window size. Adding "-50" to make reduce the window height by 50 pixels or choose another number to meet your needs.
Open a support ticket and we'll get back to you as soon as we can.
